In the past, Dawn had continued to pursue her love for art while working in Office Management and Human Resources. In 2007, she quit her job to become a full-time working artist.  She specializes in traditional realism depicting scenery from around the world as well as portraiture.

To quote her instructor, “Dawn’s incredibly accurate drawing skills allow her the freedom to use vibrant and clear color to describe to the viewer the beauty of romantic locations in our world--places reminiscent of our favorite vacations or places we would dearly love to visit.  She is skilled in her capturing of atmospheric conditions while correctly handling details of the scene without disruption of the central focus.  Her portrait  work is equally accurate, as she has an uncanny ability to capture the likeness, inside and out.  All in all, this young lady is a remarkable artist with a great future in the art world.”
